Brian

For any of you following Brian, you know he lives to climb, and climbs to live.  He worked the first half of the year in Indy, saved his money, and in July hit the road to follow his passion of climbing.  Marty helped him convert his Subaru Outback into living quarters.

He started in KY at Red River Gorge then migrated west in September.  He hit the Badlands and Black Hills in the Dakota’s, Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons (WY), the Arches National Park (UT), and experienced landscapes most of us only see in magazines or on TV.

In October he landed in Moab (UT) and bounced between there and Indian Creek (UT) doing what he loves….Trad (traditional) climbing (crack systems with fingers & removable gear) on desert sandstone.

His trip highlights were incredible views on a daily basis, waking to a cattle drive around his car one morning, taking a skydiving trip on his 21st birthday, a rope swing off a rock face, meeting new friends with the same passion as him, and living his dream by climbing all day, every day.   He’s currently back in Indy working for the winter, saving his money, and plans to hit the road again in the spring as soon as the rock faces get warm and dry.
