After relocating to Vancouver, WA in Jan. 2020, Meredith (28), and husband Ian Hamilton, purchased a home in February and spent every weekend remodeling.  They painted every room and ceiling and also the fireplaces.  They removed and replaced trim, demoed 2.5 walls, installed and painted cabinets, poured concrete countertops, installed the kitchen backsplash, can lights through entire house, new engineered flooring, and created a bar area with live edge wood.   Chip & Joanna Gaines watch out!    

Meredith & Ian celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary this year and living in Vancouver gives them easy access to recreational activities like the Columbia River, hiking, and camping and lots of wineries.    Still with Specialty Coating Systems (HQ in Indy),  Meredith covers the NW Territory, and like many others, spent most of the time working from home due to COVID travel restrictions.   Ian continues his groundbreaking development of a prototype for  thermionic conversion (heat to electricity) but struggled this year due to contractor quality and supply chain issues.   He's very close to bringing a viable device to market.     Oh! – and they rescued another Chihuahua (Rocky) to join playmate Ginger.  They enjoy dining out at the numerous hot spots in Vancouver and Portland, OR.
