Marty & Kelli

We started the year by unloading some real estate.  In January we sold our home in Indy of 23yrs and after finishing the renovations, sold one of two properties off the Homestead in May.   We are now full time residents of Crawford County, IN.

The primary focus this year was making improvements on the haybarn and freeing up room in the shop, but the big project was the garden.   It was relocated due to water retention (last year) and it really produced (See the Naptown Homestead page).

Marty continued his practice of habitat management for the wildlife by planting food plots and spent much of his time tending the garden.  Kelli stored the produce by canning vegetables, lots of jelly/jam, as well as her signature blackberry BBQ sauce.

They were able to travel this year and made a trip to Vancouver (WA) to see Meredith and Ian.  A trip to Texas to visit Dustin, Hannah, and the TX Motor Speedway for a NASCAR race in June (and it was HOT).   A trip to Indy for a Blackberry Smoke concert, and one more NASCAR race in August in Michigan.   

Kelli volunteers at the Crawford County Food Pantry each month and continues to scrapbook, read, and take care of pets Louie, Stella and Dr. Poe.  Marty is still working at Single Source Systems and spends as much time as he can outdoors
